I know that these days, a lot of people would like to toss religion aside, altogether. But I do believe that holy books such as the Quran or the Bible hold precious lessons that can really really change one’s life. As long as that change is positive, I don’t see any reason to question one’s faith 🙂
Absolutely right Cranny. It has all the answers I was looking for. And when I read it daily, it gives me the courage to go forth and face my day with full faith.
Maybe ‘To Kill A Mockingbird” all those years ago. It taught me (even though it took me years to fully understand things) a LOT about tolerance and kindness/compassion and how some folks have really narrow minds where bigotry and hatred abide.
I have many in mind too… They have not all brought significant changes to my life, but enough to make me see life in a slightly different way. I think that’s a good thing 😉
My life has changed by the holy book, Quran.

Sounds interesting, it is the first time I hear about it 🙂 (I should check the French title, it might ring a bell)

I didn’t know about that book, but I just read the synopsis, and it really looks interesting! Thank you for sharing, Anne 🙂
