Outside of being a soldier in a war, where it’s kill or be killed, I think it’s only justified in the case of self defense or in defense of a member of your immediate family.
This is what I love about the Quickies… I hadn’t given a thought about assisted suicide. Having a couple of family members who might have wanted to die in dignity when they were very ill, I do think that this should be accepted. We put our dearest pets to sleep when they suffer uselessly, why should our loved ones have to live no matter what? Great point, Anne 🙂 xx

It is only okay if you are taking a life in order to stop someone from intentionally taking the life of another.

I agree, but isn’t it ironic that we’d only be allowed to take a life when the person is about to take another’s life?

This quickie is a tough one for me. But I do support assisted suicide in cases of terminal illness especially if the person is in pain.
