As you might know, I’ll be hosting the Christmas Hygge Challenge all month long. J, my best friend, dared me into it, by sending me the above list. She is much more Christmassy than me, and I suspect that she wanted to sprinkle a little Holiday magic in my life.

Here is my take for December 13th:

 

Cooking is probably the heart of the Holiday Season. And knowing that in our family, it is a festival of celebrations between November 16th and January 6th (Mom’s birthday, Chéri’s birthday, Little bro’s birthday, Christmas with J, Christmas with my family and finally Dad’s birthday) you can try to imagine all the cooking involved!

And my Creuset pot is never far from the stove, whenever I get busy in the kitchen. So it just seemed fair to make it the star of today’s advent calender post! It is posing here with two of its lovely matching baby casseroles. Because cooking is a family thing for them too!
