Iβm as right handed as they come. I suppose it was just natural. One of my twins is a lefty, and we did nothing the encourage or dissuade. Itβs one of those it is what it is things. π
I still struggle with Left and Right.
When giving directions I have to point “over there”.
I had a misunderstanding with my Dad when I was a little on and learning to use cutlery. I asked my Dadda which hand I was supposed to hold my knife and fork with. Dad showed me. I was sat opposite him and I mirrored how he held his. So for years I trained my left hand to use a knife and my right the fork. I am right handed. It’s a habit I have never been able to break off and I am constantly told off at dinner parties about it.
Hehehehe that’s a cute story, Caramel! I had trouble all my life… As a child I sucked my thumb, and I had a bump on the left one. I used that for years… When the bump disappeared, I had to find something else, now I think about the fact that drivers sit on the left side here π
I never thought about it. I’ve just always ‘known’ (although these days, time to time, I have trouble telling front from back ((with shirts and blouses))… π
I didn’t know it for ages, even in my teens I got confused. I used the left hand L thing.

It’s funny how some people just get it, and others will doubt their whole life π Thank you for participating, Basil!

Like crushedcaramel I still have moments of confusion. Especially if I am telling someone to turn right or left. So I am a left right dyslexic!

I have to wonder what side the driver sits, in a car (left)… But if I travel to UK I might get completely lost LOL

Trust me with the way drivers drive in the UK, it probably wouldn’t matter
