One hundred years? In other words 2119? I’m thinking humans will be eradicated (through their own stupidity as witnessed by what’s happening right now). Perhaps the Earth will have begun to heal, but I bet that’s going to take a very long time. Maybe it’ll be better for the lack of ‘us’?
I don’t think the planet will be able to sustain human life in 100 years. we have damaged it too badly and no one in the USA is trying to fix the problem.
I think it’s fair to say that things have already taken a turn for the worse. But when was that? It’s hard to say, but I am thinking maybe things started to go sour in the garden of Eden.
Thee climate emergency is the thing that makes the future unclear to me. However I grew up with the threat of nuclear war and we all thought we would die in a desert of radiation and that has not happened. So I think things will be different; different threats to our survival and different styles of life but we will still be here.

I don’t plan on being here for another 100 years, but they’re not improving anything now, so I doubt anything else would be improved.
