Thank you, Sascha 🙂 The rain showers are rare this summer, but when we get one, all the snails come out of nowhere, and when the sun peeks again, they dry out on the sidewalk, sadly. It looked like a real snail cemetary this afternoon
But I think there is beauty, even in death, sometimes 🙂

oh! Silly snails. I think I didn’t quite realize that’s what it was because of the variation in the shells. We used to have quite a few snails in this area, but it’s been a long, long time since I’ve seen one. Slugs on the other hand….

I agree Anne! One of Nature’s wonders 🙂 I love how they go from very whitish shells, to bright pink ones, and how it seems like every single one is unique with its stripes…
