Year after year, time after time, I longed for you in silence… Imagining you in their anonymous arms, when you should have been mine. And once every blue moon, my call in the night, like a wolf’s howl, drew you to my lair to appease my appetite.
Oh the nights of tenderness, waking up in pain… Knowing it was just the way we were, until we’d meet at last again. The throes of passion, both cheating our loneliness, hoping we could be one, before you teared us appart, leaving without a promise.
And what now? I heard you gave up on your dreams? You, the king of dreamers, you drew a line on what could have been. You hung up the key, hung your life to a rope… Closing your eyes, denying the smallest hope.
Tonight I could lament all night, it would just be useless. There will be no more kisses, there will be no more caress… You’re gone for good, abandonning me. And I have to be true to myself, from now on, you are a memory…

we’re the sum of everything that happened to us, good and bad…. I wouldn’t change my past either 🙂
Glad to see that you’re in a good place now too 🙂

Thankfully I’m not in that space anymore. The Viking took it over. Now we slay each other’s demons, because we gathered a lot of them in our lives – him on one side of the planet and me on the other. :o)

And that’s one solid demon slayer you have 🙂 Dang! Does The Viking give private classes to poor guys that didn’t get the chance to be born in Denmark? lol I might want to offer Chéri a gift certificate 😉
