Shower day (not international)

Just out of bed, with sticky eye corners and all. Sitting on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, thinking how good a millionaire I would be.

It is grey outside. Grå.

I don’t have a commun disease in Québec, drawing people to keep a close track of the upcoming weather. People here visit weather websites, watch the weather network on tv, listen to the broadcast on the radio… They always know what is expected 3 days from now.

I prefer to look out the window. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is too far away. Carpe Diem.

But occasionally, I check the current weather on my tablet. I compare what is going on here in Montréal, in Svendborg and in Aalborg.  Why those 3 cities? Montréal, obvious. The other two are the home of special people, and high on my “gotta-visit-when-I-get-to-Denmark” list.

Current report;

  • Montréal; Snow and ice, then rain / A touch of rain this evening
  • Svendborg; A couple of showers / Patchy clouds, showers around
  • Aalborg; Clouds and breaks of sun / A few showers in the evening

Looks like Denmark will be extra clean tonight, with all them showers. I just hope there’s enough hot water for everyone, and that someone in particular gets his hand on the right “planin-manly-scented-shampoo” bottle…

Oh well… Been away from the office for almost 11h, better get ready to go back!

Goddag Svendborg, goddag Aalborg…
