I was invited, (well, not personally, but still) to  Fandango’s Friday Flashback!

Fandango scrolls back, every Friday, and gives a second chance to a post he had published on the same date, years before. I thought it was a great way to remember some of the stuff I did a while back, and I decided to participate…

So here it is!

Written on September 8th of 2019, here’s a little piece of romantic poetry from four years ago Me. I don’t like to say that I enjoyed re-reading my own words. But when I do, it makes me hope Life will grant me the inspiration to keep writing in the future. Because I do love words. And I do love romance. And I think this post embodies both in quite a lovely way.

Butterfly kiss,
Kiss me, make me
Your Butterfly Miss,
Miss the spot, aim
Again, and again
And once more…
Blow ever so
Softly, blow
My wings spread
Widely across your
Bedroom skies…
I’ll paint every wall
With fairy dust lies!
Be my sun, be
My full moon…
Whisper my name
And I will swoon.
Spiralling down
Into your arms,
Feeding you with
Secret charms,
Hoping to find
On your inviting lips
My lingering
Butterfly kiss!
