Awww I agree, Carol Anne 🙂 Nothing compares with a loving mother’s cooking! In our family, that would be cipaille… A deep-dish meatpie that has to cook for about 8 hours. Mom only makes it for Christmas, and its smell haunts us all for the rest of the year 😛
Oooooooh Venus, I so agree. A mother’s perfume smell sticks to the back of your mind.
It reminds me of long-time-ago Christmases, when us kids would fall asleep in the pile of coats on the guest room’s bed. All of our aunts and grandmas’ scents were blending in creating the perfect Holiday smell to drift to sleep in 😉
The smell of stew cooking! You haven’t tasted stew until you have tasted my moms stew!

My Mom used to use a certain perfume, I believe it was Estee Lauder but, I don’t think they make it, anymore.
