I agree with that – but sometimes we can make painful memories not so painful anymore. I’m living proof of that. (I’m not saying this is universally true for all painful memories, but some absolutely).
Other than photos that caught me in the wrong light (I don’t like seeing photos of myself) I think it is best not to hide the history that has made me the person I am today.
