When our children were small my husband had a job that had him away from home 6 months of the year. Sometimes he would be working in a place where I could not contact him . That was tough but his life was never in danger so I learned to deal with it.
Depends on what he is risking his life for. Policeman, Fireman, yes. Boxer, race car driver, or things that are risky like storm chasers , sorry would say no.
I would be a nervous wreck.
To be honest, if I thought my husband didn’t have a high enough regard for the preciousness of life, well, that would be a problem. I think I would struggle with that.

George spent over 20 years in the army and multiple battle zones. So, yes…I could……..and did.

LOL! I’d be happy with the partner part, period. 🤣 But, certainly not out risking his life. My anxiety would be through the roof!

Of course. Because of those risks, they just might be helping others. Besides, i am usually the one who is the risk taker. 🙂

I wouldn’t mind that. The fact that she keeps risking MY life is a bit harder to put up with.

If I was in love with them, sure. I wouldn’t like it necessarily, and would likely worry constantly. But, who am I to ask them to change?
