.

If you had the power to significantly change only one person’s life for better or for worse, who would you choose?

    1. I think that sometimes, it is a good thing to be selfish 😉 Going through such a change is probably one of the most complicated transformations a human being can face… You are a butterfly 🙂

  1. Only one person – that is a little stingy!
In that case, I would like to pick the most generous person on the planet – not sure who that is – but I figure that if I made their life better, they would share the good with lots of other people, and hopefully they would also be motivated to share.

    1. Oh, you, kind heart 🙂 That is a great idea… Your altruism always makes me smile. I really believe in the ”paying forward” thing. I often ask people I help to pay it forward to someone who really needs it. Yup, making the kindest person’s life better would probably have a great impact on the long term 🙂

    1. I must say, I suspected that parents would choose their children. I am impressed that you’d be ready to weigh in which one would need it the most, out of your son or daughter… If I get the chance to grant you that power, I’ll let you help them both 🙂 xx

  2. This baffles me. I want to have some amazing answer, but I don’t. I do not want to use the power to make any one’s life worse, for sure. That’s not who I am. I have no children, I am an aunt to a few kiddos, but they’re ok, or will be. I do not want to give such a gift to someone who will squander it, or will only need it for a short time due to age and nature. I have no reason to pick myself because anything that needs improvement won’t truly be improved by a magic wand – I have to work for it to appreciate it properly. To give that gift away is idiotic – everyone would appear as if for a raffle and beg to be the one to receive it because of what would amount to an underlying selfish motivation, thus also squandering it. I believe that I would tuck it away, and keep it safe. I would keep my eyes and ears open for someone who I find worthy of such a fantastical gift. When that person has been chosen, I will provide the much needed relief that they so deserve. My only stipulation is that I would not want them to know who the benefactor of such a shift in fortune was. I would want them to live as they normally would, just in better circumstances, and hope that my choice was the right one for those who could not receive it as there was only one to give.
