Getting married! Getting promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, getting published, etc, when one is in love as I am, everything else seems insignificant by comparison.
Brining up a son and a daughter who are independent and who have made lives for themselves. Both have had tough times and they have made good choices to get through those times.
That really speaks to me, Anne. I hope my parents feel the same… Because they gave Little Bro and I all the tools to make a great life, and let us make our own choices, helping us when we (mostly I) chose the bad path.
Ha! You make me laugh, but my girls have been kind enough to say so – so I guess I should trust them? The best compliment I’ve ever gotten was from my youngest when asked, “What’s the first thing you think about when you see a guy you might be interested in?” Her reply made me laugh and know that, as a parent, I’d done something right. Her reply was, “Is this someone I can take home to meet my Dad?”. LOL

Oh… You’re just being modest here. I for one, could name at least one great thing you could be proud of 🙂 But I sure wish you to will top your greatest achievement in the years to come 😉
