Do you remember the good old Meet & Greet parties, we used to throw, a couple of years back? Aside from Trina’s weekly Weekend Share, I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen one in my Reader.

Recently, someone strongly suggested that I’d throw such a party. And I think that’s a great idea.

Especially since WP has been messing with my Followers’ list for a couple of months now. And it is just fair to take a moment to thank three very loyal blogger-friends of mine. See, WP seems to be randomly kicking some of my readers out. These three people were kind enough to re-follow The Cove, and that’s why we’ll have this ”Welcome Back Party” šŸ™‚

Thank you Larry, I did notice when you found your way back to my blog, and I really appreciate it!

Thank you Cheryl… We have followed each other since the very beginning of The Cove, and God knows how many times you had to re-follow me. You actually were the first one who reported this annoying problem.

And last but not least… Thank you Trina! It was funny the first couple of times I noticed you coming back. Now it is just plain annoying, and it is definately not normal that I had to let you know you had disappeared this morning…

So, shall we party a little?

It’s really easy. Just stop by and say ”hi”! Leave a link to your blog, either the main page or a specific post you’d like people to read. Try to pay the other people in the comment section a little visit. Mingle, have fun, and come back to see who might have left you a little note. It is a great way to discover new bloggers, and give your own blog a little shout out.

I’ll be answering every message, until Monday (though I might take a couple of hours break to get my beauty sleep, hehehe).

I’m taking care of the finger food, I made nachos and all kinds of delicious snacks, both sweet and savory! I’ll be at the bar and we have plenty of beers, wine bottles, and different liquors (and I loooove using my shaker, so don’t be shy, let me know what cocktail would make your day). Of course, I thought about those of you who don’t drink alcohol!

Oh, and if you don’t mind, just drop the YouTube link of your favorite party song in the comments too! I didn’t get the chance to hire a DJ, and we need good tunes to dance to! Here’s my own pick, a song I really like from the Danish (of course) band Scarlet Pleasure.

    1. Hey Cheryl šŸ™‚ Yes, it is a wonderful day to mingle and have fun altogether! The sun is bright here too, and it is a great idea to take the party outside… Maybe we can even light a bonfire tonight and grill marshmellows and saussages?

You’re very welcome šŸ™‚ We’re doing better, slowly but surely… We’ve been at an average of a thousand new cases per day for many weeks now, which seems like a miracle when we look at our Ontarian neighbours. About a third of the population has gotten their first shot, ChĆ©ri is getting his this week, and I should be able to get my appointment for the next… How about you, Gorgeous, how are things in your area?

      3. In my city we are doing good. Only 6 active cases as of yesterday. I am just under the age limit at moment for the Pfizer vaccine but hoping with the new doses coming up will soon be able to get it. Fingers crossed. šŸ¤“šŸ¤—šŸ¤—

      4. Wow, that’s good news… We had 297 yesterday, but it is MontrĆ©al, and it is amazing that we managed to control the variants from spreading like crazy. Crossing fingers for you… Here’s to an almost normal summer (is ice coffee something that would make you happy? šŸ˜‰ )
