I thought when I looked at the comments there would be Elvis or JFK or John Lennon. But these comments are much kinder. Let them stay in the world beyond.
What? Elvis is dead?? What about that story about him living on a remote island?? 😉 I was expecting a couple of names too, but you are right, we should let them rest in peace!
Comment on movie subtitles:
I would prefer to have good subtitles instead of dubbed dialog. I haven’t seen a good dubbing in any movie – it is never in synch.
On a flight home from Germany/Holland in 1997, they played a French language film with Dutch subtitles. I might as well have watched a silent movie. If it had been a German film, I might have had a chance to understand a little of it, even as rusty as my German was then.
They are strange when they hit my inbox. When I click on them they say ” Oops! We can’t find that page”. I have to go to the last quickie with comments and put mine there. Your posts are sneaking into my inbox…hahaha. 🤣 Are we Vulcan’s in disguise doing mind melds??
Oh I have a very long list of people I am looking forward to meeting when they are back with us.
Some are family I never met but have heard about. I have always been fascinated by Daniel – I think he was a remarkable person. But the list of people I am looking forward to seeing is so long I don’t know where to begin!
I sometimes try to imagine what such a reunion would be like… And I am sure, that being the kind hearted person that you are, there will be a LOT of people waiting for you on the other side 🙂
I’d love it if James Garner got to come back. BRIEFLY. As he was in his prime too, not how he was at the end. That was creepy actually. They all do deserve to lay down their labors and be allowed to rest though.
Well, Melanie, you’re the only one who gave me a name, so if I ever find a way to bring someone back for a short period of time, you’ll definately get your chat with Mr Garner 😉 But I agree, we shouldn’t exagerate… A couple of days, maybe?
That would be fine, even a few hours would be plenty. He was so much a part of my life growing up (watching The Rockford Files) and then as my tastes matured a little, watching those marvelous old movies where he played the leading man. Very handsome fella!
No one,I’ll let them be.

Very true… And I’m not sure any of them would appreciate getting brought back to life in 2021 😛

No one, I think they’ve spent enough time in the spotlight.

Indeed… And I feel relieved, I won’t have to find out how to revive the dead to please people 😉
