And one morning
You bloom in silence,
No warning,
No invitation
To watch you
Unfold into
The precious being
That you are.
Pure,
Like a virgin
About to walk down
The aisle of her
Secret fairy-tale.
Tomorrow,
When you’ll be gone
Your memory
Will keep dancing
In the back of
My voyeur mind…
I know. I am cheating tonight. I usually only post one picture in my After Eight Moments. But I wanted to wink at Anne, who also published beautiful star magnolia pictures earlier this week. The tree above can be seen from my living room’s window, and in ten years, it is the first time I noticed its spring blooming. And I didn’t have the slightest clue that it was a magnolia tree. Now I know… Thanks to Anne. Thank you, dear!

Thank you 🙂 In 10 years living in this apartment, I can’t believe this is the first time I notice this amazing magnolia tree, just across the street…

We have a little yellow one that we bought last year—hoping the late frost didn’t damage it, so it should be blooming soon!
