Home sweet home.

Home.

It never felt more safe. Never, ever. Not even the shadow of a doubt…

Since we came back to Canada, I focused on preparing Chéri and I for some kind of self-quarantine. I think most people in Québec understand the importance of temporarely isolating ourselves from strangers. Lucky for us. And it explains why we only have 121 cases so far.

Chéri has his ”work-at-home” kit. I should get mine shortly.

We just have to keep being careful. Easier said than done.

Wish us help.

Danger is everywhere…. or so it seems.

  1. It is good to be prepared. Here in Portland, Oregon schools are closed at least until April 28. Colleges have closed going to online learning instead. Many businesses are closed. Life has slowed down. I feel safe in my home. But I worry for people who don’t have homes.
    Take care up there.

    1. I agree with you, Ali. Being homeless is bad enough already… But to have to add the threat of this disease, oh my…

I feel safe home too, and I plan to spend as much time in our little cocoon, for as long as it is necessary. This plague is so overwhelming. My brain just can’t process all the dammage it is causing worldwide. But I think you’re right, it is forcing us to slow down, and just ”be” for a while.

Thank you for your comment 🙂 Take good care too, neighbour from the South!!

      1. We’re good. Both of us still have to work. Precautions taken at every turn. Boys not gone stir crazy…yet. Have to do school stuff on-line every day still, but at least they don’t have to get out of pajamas. So far so good. 😊

    1. Thank you Irene 🙂 I wish you and your family the same! Seeing how things are going in Spain and Germany, it often makes me think about you… I really hope you’ll all stay safe! *Big cyber hugs* (the only ones still allowed :P)

    1. I wish you and your beautiful family are safe, South of our border… Chéri is home for good now, and I should be off from work within a few days (the company I work for is supposed to close down, we just don’t know when exactly)… And then I won’t have to worry too much anymore 🙂

  2. Ontario is basically on lock-down, which is good. I was shocked this morning to hear about a Quebec woman who was diagnosed with Covid and refused to self-isolate. Glad the SQ arrested her while she was wandering around her neighbourhood!
