I’ve been doing it for years now, I’m quite comfortable with beign alone. However, that being said, I certainly wouldn’t mind having a significant other in my life, but I don’t see that taking place again.
I do pretty well with aloneness. I get to do my own thing. Read. Watch t.v. Run around the house naked (LOL) it gives me time to be me and listen to my thoughts. 🙂
It depends on the time of day and where I am. I find myself wanting to be alone at the office in the day time more and more lately.
But if I am at home I like to have my alone time at night late once everyone has went to bed. I don’t care for being home alone in the day time at home.
I think being alone has a bad rap. And some people confuse being alone with being lonely and they are not the same thing. One can be alone without being lonely, and one can be with someone and feel both alone and lonely.
I relish it. It’s rare I feel lonely, even though I’ve spent most of my life ‘alone.’ Someone else (blogger) once said it this way: Introvert: Hermit level. That pretty much sums me up.

It feels like a rare but delightful treat.
But too much is not good for me. I am glad I have so many roles where I interact with lots of people.
