Just thinking…

For some reason, I don’t really like to talk about my real life projects, online. Probably because, like anybody else, most of them fail before being anywhere close to success. Sometimes, I persevere, and sometimes I choose to let go.

And of course, occasionally, I get things to work out. Like today.

After months of planning, and shopping, and looking for deals, I took the leap this morning, and booked plane tickets for the other end of the world.

I did mention in a couple of comments, that I was planning this. But quite frankly, I doubted I’d manage to arrange things to make it possible. ChΓ©ri was so enthusiastic about this trip that I worked extra hard, and now it is real.

We’re going to Australia!!

I still have two months ahead of me, to make a loose itinerary and write a bucketlist of the things we have to do, places we need to visit, and stuff we want to see. I know we’ll have to make hard choices, Australia is such a large country… But I know we’ll have an amazing time!

And we’ll escape Freezingland’s cold winter for almost a full month!

So get ready Aussiland!

    1. Of course, I thought about you when I booked the flights this morning πŸ˜‰

Adelaide is definately on our list, and if you think Goldfinch wouldn’t mind meeting with me, I’d love to bring your words to him in person, and send you a little selfie of both of us in private πŸ˜‰ And since I travel very light, I’d bring you with great pleasure!! But you have to know that it is a dang long trip from QuΓ©bec πŸ˜› LOL

    1. It is… I’ve never been so far away from home before! And thinking about getting a nice tan while everybody here is freezing, is pretty pleasant too πŸ™‚ Both ChΓ©ri and I have an extra suitcase available… If you think you can put up with me for three weeks, you’re welcome to tag along πŸ˜‰ xx

      1. He is doing pretty good at the moment… We’re just keeping our fingers crossed, because doctors are worried about his kidneys, right now. And we have to keep him away from flues, and colds all winter. But with a goal like this trip, I have a feeling it’s going to be very easy to get him to always wear his scarf and stay away from sneezing people πŸ˜›

    1. Oh my!! Thank you for the link, Anne πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Wow, there are so many interesting things there I didn’t know about! Melbourne is definately on our to-do list, and I can’t wait to explore it! Are you from Melbourne yourself?

The only bad thing about Australia, when you live so far from it, is that there is way too much to see, do and experience for a single trip…. And because of the large size of the country, we’ll have to leave out many amazing places….

    1. Hahahahahaha Yeah, I told Denmark not to be worried. Me and Australia are just good friends, and I won’t let it flirt with me πŸ˜› I am pretty excited… I never imagined I would visit the other end of the world. Beware kangaroos and koalas, here I come!! And with a little luck, I hope to meet with a couple of amazing Aussie bloggers too!!

      1. Haha Geelong which is a beautiful part of the world. Across the bay from myself. I live in an even more beautiful piece of AUSTRALIA, (sorry Ivor) the mornington Peninsula, rural meets the sea, wineries, beautifuL beaches, great restaurants, fun activities, magic scenery. Great people πŸ‘
