I am guessing you meant ”any good”? I agree… Wether it is with stars, or people I know personally, I agree. I just don’t care. Who am I to judge gossip information about others? 🙂
I can’t help noticing that (at the time of writing) this post has 22 ‘likes’ but only 3 replies. Does that suggest that a lot of people really ‘like’ gossip but just don’t want to admit it?
Wise analysis, Brutus! My own observation of people around me would suggest that you are right. People tend to say that they dislike gossip, but they act quite otherwise when they can get their hands on crunchy stories… 😉
Not particularly, because it could be done to me.
It’s one thing if you are discussing an issue about a situation, but in most cases, I tend to discuss it with the person head on. I dislike gossip quite a bit.
I agree that talking to the person is the right thing to do… 🙂 But I’ve noticed that a lot of people enjoy taking part in ”behind the back” discussions, and those are rarely on the positive side. I guess that we can’t change human nature…
Nope!
Unless it is nice….
“I think Jane is a treasure. She has such a lovely smile and she is such a kind person, she always washes up everyone’s dishes in the canteen, to make sure it is clean and tidy for tea break time.”
But normally gossip is not so nice…
“Jane is always late back after her lunch. She’s probably sneaking off with that new IT guy. You know what she’s like smiling at all the guys here – what a flirt!”
Yup, I agree… I enjoy spreading the positive gossip too 🙂 (and hearing about it. Recently, a co-worker told me that she had heard a man working in our work office say that I looked like a very friendly person… And I appreciated her telling me about it – obviously) But like you said, gossip is rarely positive. So I try to stay away from it 😉

Hahhahahahaha, thank you for your honesty dear Saumya 🙂 Do you prefer gossip about stars, or people you actually know? 😉

People I know, but then only a few selected ones. Not everyone deserves that much of time and attention 😜
