Mouahahahahahaha! I actually like the first snow, especially if we don’t get enough to have to plow. But I know that next time, or the time after that, I’ll start cursing at the sight of the white stuff 😛
Yep. It’s pretty and all, but my day to day existence gets much more complicated when snow hits. If it were up to me, it’d be 85F and sunny every day. 😃
It is certainly a significant event. The last snow to fall where I live was on July 18, 1965. There are no forecast falls in the immediate future. But, like sonofaneach96, I may be inspired to move. In my case, north. If the (seemingly unlikely) trend continued he and I would eventually meet on the equator somewhere in the surf.
😉 That’s quite a while back, indeed! I have a feeling that a lot of people would go for the migration too… But I wouldn’t consider it, myself. As much as I can complain during the winter, I need my four seasons. Plus, it gives me a good reason to plan trips to the South hemisphere while everyone is freezing here 😛
We leave right after Christmas. Biasini goes mid December. He has a chance to acclimatize and settle in before we get there and my coach in Florida knows him well.
Snow is kind of an odd experience in England. Some years we don’t get any at all.
When it does snow…we all think we are eight again and rush out to build snowmen and throw snowballs.
We don’t drive (or else we end up crashing) sometimes the trains stop, we ring work (half an hour away) and say we can’t get into work because of the snow. Schools are closed.
A lot of my friends from Scandinavia and other parts of Europe think we are a bit pathetic. We just have it so infrequently, we have no idea what to do!
To move further south. 😝

We had our first snow today. It inspired me to put on my long underwear before going out to ride my horse !😊

🙂 They say there’s no bad weather, just bad clothes for the occasion! I hope you and Biasini had a great ride! When are you heading South?
