I’d like to dedicate this week to a gentleman who has fooled the whole Bloggosphere. Well, almost.

Not quite a week ago, this well known blogger announced in one of his posts that he would be taking a break from blogging soon. Oh sure, the ”burnout” feeling and the too expensive WP costs were a really good cover, but I am cleverer than that!

I did come across a Facebook group that has gone quite viral lately. And it so happens that these people have agreed to meet on the very day our common friend is leaving us. Coincidence? I think not!

At first, I thought he was going there just to shoot more of his amazing and one of a kind pictures. It would have made sense… He likes odd stuff, and has quite an eye for it. But it bugged me that he would settle for a getaway so far from any lake, river or beach. As a matter of fact, I was a bit worried when I figured he was leaving the Bloggosphere to get lost in the desert.

There had to be more to it. Much more…

And then it hit me. There was only one reason he would have to leave his blog to head to Nevada. Son of a…

He had to be at the head of this event. Wanting to have the most unique pictures ever, he had raised an army of curious people to invade Area 51… On September 20th!

Ha!

Well done, Sonofa! You win this week for (almost) fooling all of us. I knew you were good at gathering people together, but I sure wouldn’t have imagined you leading millions of men and women in doing such a silly thing as invading Area 51 to see aliens.

Your secret is safe with me, though. I won’t tell anyone… else! LOL
