We have an expression in French, ”C’est l’intention qui compte” (it’s the intention that counts)… So it is almost as if you had taken care of all that doing 😉
A bit of each, I suppose. With kids, planning and thinking 2 or 3 steps ahead, is a must. But my nature is to leap before I look. And I still do sometimes. 😃
I think that kids do force even the biggest thinkers into becomming doers! Otherwise they (the kids) have to learn early how to be doers themselves. And that kind of kills a cool childhood!
Tricky one… I’m sort of both. I would have to say I lean towards the thinking more so. The doer part of me fails sometimes, wspecially if my depression is peaked.
I live in my head, so definitely a thinker. Due to my physical problems, action is often difficult or painful, so there’s another reason why.

Yeah, I think a lot of people are ”forced” to be thinkers…. But at least, you still think 😉 hehehe And you do it well 🙂 xx

When I need to, I am a doer, but most of the time I just sit and think

Same here… But I have a lot of doing to do, and it cuts down on my thinking time 😛

Depression does affect the doer part of anyone suffering from it! Good point there, Beckie. xx

‘Doing’ anything should be delayed until the last possible moment. Up until then there is always the chance that someone else will do it for you.

Hahahahaha… You, wise man! True, very true 🙂 And the waiting time can be used ”thinking” around and about!

Both. I think and I do.

🙂 It doesn’t surprise me, Anne… You are a very balanced woman, or at least, that how I see you 🙂

Hehehehehe Should we change Descartes’ saying ”I think, therefore I am” for ”I think, therefore I do” ? 😛

I am both, but my dominate trait is that of a doer.

🙂 I admire great doers… I sometimes spend too much time in my head, and I wish I was a bit more on the doers’ side 😉

My husband is like that too. I act first and think later. Sometimes it gets me trouble, but not to much. 🙂
