Smile that smile…
As my silhouette dances
On the backdrop
Of your mind…
Barefooted, only wearing
A summer promise
On my lips
And sweet spring’s colors
Painted on my lids…
Let my giggly arms
Carefully wrapped
Around your neck
Warm
Your wintery heart.
Let me melt
This icy stare.
Diamond tears,
Rolling down your cheek
For we both know,
You still have
This warmth within…
Not lost,
Nor forgotten.
Just locked…
And I am holding
The key.
You are in luck,
I’m setting you
Free…
So,
Smile that smile!
“Diamond tears,
Rolling down your cheek” Beautiful imagery and poem! Fantastic work! 💗
