Cyranny’s quickie!

We all have guilty pleasures… Stuff we enjoy, but prefer not to tell others that we do. What’s your guilty pleasure?

I am not the first blogger to start a ”Question of the day” series. I used to participate to Danny’s Let me ask you a question posts regularly, but since he has almost stopped pubishing them, I thought I’d give it a go. We’ll see if I stick to it, depending on the answers I get!

  1. Man that’s a tough one. I always thought my taste in lower half wear was a guilty pleasure (well 2) but that’s on full display all the time, so I’ll have to go with the fact I’m a huge Dancing with the Stars fan.

    1. I must admit, I wouldn’t have guessed that one 🙂 Thank you for sharing, Lynn xx (oh, and you are right, your men leggings are by no means a ”guilty” pleasure since you wear them proudly 🙂 )

      1. Well either that or my “Davy” Dukes. I was thinking either or the other or both but I gotcha. Alas my profile pic says it all.

(PS: Isn’t my new profile pic sexy? Lol J/K)

  2. Oh man, guilty pleasure(s)? I am guilty of many things I guess. Hmmm, something I don’t share with other people. Well, I am a hermit… I like being a hermit. That’s one guilty pleasure.

I have too many food guilty pleasures… But we are all programmed to feel guilty about eating. The most guilty pleasure, for food, would be Chicken Gizzards. I am 44 and spent over two decades perfecting the perfectly cooked Gizzard. I Don’t think about what they are by pondering what I am eating. I like them drowned in Cider vinegar. They sound gross and disgusting and I don’t care. I can cook/fry them to a perfect melt in your mouth tender gizzard. The process used to take 10 hours… With the Instapot, it takes like 90 minutes…

Hmmm, trying to think of a good one… Other than food. I’ll have to give it some thought. I mean, what is the sense of having a “Guilty” pleasure if you don’t feel some guilt about it?

    1. You are right, most guilty pleasures seem to be related to food… I had to Google chicken gizzards, and I can see how most people would frown at their sight 😛

Talking about food, the idea of my question came from one of my own guilty food pleasures… Once or twice a year, I get a craving for Cheez Whiz, and I can eat it by the spoon. I don’t know why, I am well aware that there is nothing natural and it is just orange chemicals mixed together, but I just like it 😛

    1. 😉 Good one, Carol Anne… It is true that music is often considered a guilty pleasure… I still listen to music from my teenage years, that most people find to be corny. Thank you for sharing 🙂 xx

  3. OMG! This is a guilty pleasure of mine since I was a little wee thing. Anything, and I do mean anything chocolate & peanut butter. Hell, I’d eat it if it were spread on chicken if I could.
But… this will all be changing come April 14th. I’m going to be eating healthier and walking. I seriously need to shed the additional person I gained over the course of the last three years. LOL!

    1. Oh my…. I’m with you with the peanut butter and chocolate mix. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but I still curse the person who invented Reese’s chocolates! Dang that bastard!! LOL

Why April 14th, if I may ask? I’ll try to remember, and offer support with your new resolution 🙂 Getting healtier is always a great plan!!

      1. It’s more of a psychological thing with me. If I start at the beginning of the month, I’m setting myself up for failure. The 13th is my friends 50th birthday bash, and that’s my last of feasting like a fool. The 14th seemed the best day to start.

Nothing but healthy living after the 13th!

  4. The guiltier one feels, the more pleasurable the past (recent or otherwise) must have been. So one must look forward to feeling guilt …. it is a sign that things have been going well.
Eventually one should arrive before one’s God on judgement day beaming from ear to ear – and as guilty as hell.
All that said … I have become very fond of jelly beans.

    1. Wise words! I like the thought of arriving before God all smiles and feeling guilty as hell 😛

I’m noting down the jelly beans thing 😉 Maybe if carry a big bag with me, when I visit Aussiland, I might lure you out of your lair? 😉

    1. I was about to say that there was nothing to be ashamed of, but I guess some people would say that you are wasting water if you stay too long under the hot stream 😉 Thanks for sharing, Epi!

    1. Ohh KFC, good one, Dewy! That’s my Dad’s favorite, although he doesn’t get to eat it often. I have to say, I am not a fan of their chicken, but I have a feeling they put some kind of drug in their brown gravy LOL

      1. Nah. No drug . I used to work for KFC as a check out chick. We used to make the gravy.
When they drain their oil at night whatever they collect at the bottom is what goes in the gravy 😂
