If only you knew…
If you dared peeking
through her many veils,
layers of lies.
Thicker than an armor
tougher than steel.
Brass fists wrapped
in satin, feel…
Feel the sharpness
of her homing dagger!
Fear her. Dread the
quiet furor, rising…
She’s a still sea, but
beneath the surface
stamina is building.
There’s still time to
choose sides, for you.
If only, poor thing,
if only you knew…
deep!

Thank you, Kate 🙂 A good night, inspiration-wise. Poetry is coming back, it is a good sign!

yes, you need space to chill … Dee will find her muse returns when she can slow down too … don’t know how you young ones do it 🙂

Awww… thank you so much Saraa 🙂 Love you too! xx
I thought about you this week. I was listening to the radio, and the host was talking about a Lebanese restaurant owner who offered a free meal to any homeless man or woman that come to their door, all year long. I was glad to see that someone from your home country was doing so much good in his adoptive country.
