3 Day Lyric Challenge – Mew themed (3/3)

Third day of the challenge…

So here are the rules

1 Thank the person who nominated you.
2 Share one of your favorite song/lyrics one at a time for three days.
3 Nominate three other bloggers each day.

I was nominated by Madame Suze directly from Suziland. (Thank you once more, Suze!!) If you don’t know Suze by now, I really don’t see any point in telling you to click on the link to discover her colorful, humorous and Trump despising blog. You’re just doing this on purpose, to annoy me!

As mentionned two days ago, my three posts for this challenge will feature the same (Danish) band: Mew. If you want to read a bit more about the band, you can catch up on what I had to say yesterday, here, or simply ask Google. Google knows the guys very well!

Tonight’s pick is an obvious if you know Mew.

The Zookeeper’s Boy is the first song I heard from the band. And it was enough to get me hooked. It is without a doubt the guys’ most famous song. I am no music expert, and I wouldn’t be bold enough to try to make a serious analysis of it, but for some reason, I feel like it is a cousin of Queens’ Bohemian Rhapsody… I’ll let you be the judge!
