Nombril de semaine…

nombril

Hello Lovelies,

It is sharing time again! This week, there are two segments to my usual “Nombril de semaine”…

The Road to There: Amanda has been sharing her thoughts about life for about two years now. Her online soul wanderings suddenly stopped last February, but after a two and a half long hiatus, she posted again, just last week! Why not drop by, and give her a warm welcome back!

Was that my outloud voice dot com: Bryce has been online since 2015, but she has only a couple of posts published to this day. And it is a shame, because the woman knows how to write, and she has a great sense of humor! Maybe if we organized a sit-in in her last post’s comment box, she would consider giving us more constant content?? I’d sure like that…

Tales from the Romulan neutral zone: I think I already shared Shiarrael’s blog, but it doesn’t matter. I owe her at least a second shout out, because she is a member of my “We love Denmark” club, and I have neglected her blog lately. Ok… Ok! I’ve neglected a lot of blogs lately… But she has several posts about DENMARK that I kept putting aside telling myself, “tonight, I’m marathon-reading all of them tonight”. And you know how it goes… Time flies by, and first thing you know, the day is over and you promise yourself you’ll do it tomorrow…  I am catching up today, Shia! 🙂

It’s good to be crazy sometimes: Trina’s blog doesn’t really fit the criterias I have set for bloggers I promote here. But She is a fabulous lady going through rough times, and she would well deserve a little extra love from the Bloggosphere! Hiding behind her biting sense of humor, Trina is a sweet and caring woman who works really hard promoting other blogs, whilst keeping us up to date with her daily life. And she’s always up for a good chat!

This second part is to share the links to two lovely ladies, I like a lot! You probably noticed the A to Z Challenge going on thoughout April. Many bloggers joined the challenge, and I know I couldn’t keep up with all of them without quitting my day job. But two series caught my attention, and I wanted to share them with you!

Dear diary: Sandra writes the daily thoughts of a girl attending college, and her relationships with friends and her handsome lab partner… A really sweet and refreshing series to follow. Sandra tends to doubt her writing, but she knows how to tell a story. Please pay her a visit, and let her know she is wrong! Hehehehe…

If my wounds were visible: Marquessa went for a more dramatic story. After an almost fairytale beginning, Cara and Dex’s relationship quickly takes a bitter twist, and Dex’s abusive ways become more an more obvious… Will Cara be able to escape her lover’s claws? Marquessa’s incredibly realistic writing will make you wonder if Cara is, in fact, just a character… Totally addictive. But don’t take my word for it!

So this is it for today… If you know new blogs you’d like to help getting exposure, or if you’ve started blogging lately, leave a link in the comments below! I’ll gladly pay a visit and share these links in the weeks to come…

Sharing is caring… At least, that’s what “they” say!

  1. Weeee! Thank you for the shoutout Cyranny 💖🇩🇰💗

I completely understand though – I’m in the catchup game, too. And it just feels wrong to hurry through blogs just so you’ve read them. In fact I tend to put off some of my favorites until I’ve the leisure to really enjoy them. So… if you feel similarly, I’m rather flattered 😁

    1. Oh, and I completely endorse you recommendation of Trina’s blog! She’s such a lovely, giving lady and I’ve found a couple of great blogs through her tireless promoting!

Now off to check out the others!

    2. That’s exactly my problem! Ughhhh! I am so glad I am not the only one… I tend to wait until I have a day off to sit back and enjoy my favorite bloggers’ latest posts. I just can’t go through them quickly just to say I’ve read them…

So yes, you should definately take it as a compliment! xx

      1. Glad I’m not the only one, either 😁

Maybe another sticker: “Slow Readers Because We Want To Enjoy – Unite!”
(we’re going to be covered in those things before long..)

  2. You are so sweet. ♥ Thank you! ♥ And you’re right… I do often doubt myself with my writing (and pretty much everything else). But I am feeling proud of what I’ve been writing for the a-to-z challenge. I never thought I’d be able to write an ongoing story for this challenge. I’m kind of amazed it’s come together… so far…

And I have a bunch of posts I’ve been saving to read, too. I can’t seem to keep up… especially with the kids on break this week… and working on my own writing.

    Thanks again… 🙂 ♥

    1. You’re welcome, Gorgeous!! And you should be proud of that series… It is really good! Once the challenge is over, you could even use it as the beginning point of something greater!

You really shouldn’t stress about not keeping up with your reading… Posts will stay online, and more great ones will get published. You just enjoy what you can catch when you have a little time for yourself. You don’t owe anybody anything, here 🙂 And people won’t like you any less, because you have things to do at home, you know? 🙂 xx

      1. Thank you for saying such nice things about my Diary story. 🙂 ♥ Before the challenge, I had been having trouble writing anything worthwhile. I’m hoping this will get me back to where I was… and that I won’t slip back to ‘uninspired’ when it’s over.

I always feel guilty when I can’t keep up with reading! I’m afraid people will think I don’t care… but I do… I just can’t get to everything.

      2. I hope your inspiration will stay around too 😉 *fingers crossed*

You know, there are so many great blogs, and so many interesting posts, out there, that I think none of us is up to date LOL Don’t worry about it!

  3. Oh My GAWD – thank you so much! I wondered where all the traffic was coming from, a sit-in was mentioned. Had no clue until I popped in here. When I set up my blog in 2015, I somehow (because I’m a technical idiot, not by any strategic course) created two separate identities one which has a just a handful of posts – mostly on my hospice experiences. There has been more activity under this one – wasthatmyoutloudvoice.com – thanks for showing my blog some love. And I am enjoying reading the other bloggers you mentioned. Thanks again, very kind and generous of you.

    1. I’m so glad you got a little traffic because of this!! I follow your main blog too now!

If you’d like to get more exposure for free (and meet an awesome lady) make sure to visit It’s Good to be Crazy Sometimes, every Friday! Trina takes any link you’d like to have reblogged, and she shares it on her blog over the weekend….

    1. You are welcome, Marquessa… You got me totally hooked on Cara & Dex’s story, and I am really glad to share it with people who might not have come across it otherwise 🙂

I am behind in my reading too… There is so much interesting stuff to go through, daily!

      1. Oh!! And may I ask where you’ll be traveling to? (I am assuming you’re not talking about the beach at “le quai de l’horloge” :P)
