Week Party, in The Cove!

I know, it’s Monday, and most people work on Mondays!

But, as Lacey from Big and Pinky Toes pointed out after my first Meet & Greet party, some people stay out of the Bloggosphere during the weekend. Good point, Lacey!! So, I thought we could throw a week party, and just be very carefull with the booze, so no one has to call in sick just because of my silly idea!

meet_greet_blank

So here are the “rules”…

  1. Introduce yourself and your blog a little, for people who wouldn’t know you already.
  2. Share links to your blog, and/or to friends of yours’ in the comment box!
  3. Reblog this link in your blog, if you don’t mind of course! The more the merrier… And I’d love to see tons of new faces around!
  4. Stay around to chit chat a little… If you are a regular in The Cove, you know I love to fool around!

I’ll let the party go on until Thursday around noon. Come as often as you like, mingle with friends, make new ones, share and enjoy yourself! I’ll make sure to keep the fridge full of snacks and drinks, just help yourself!

I’ll even leave the light on at night… Hey! It’s always 5 O’clock somewhere!

I’m waiting for you, don’t be shy, and spread the word…

      1. For that sort of lovely mention I will come back with Danish beer. Although I am very tired, but I will keep trying to pop in and out, I am going to be reblog this as well, but I have a queue going on. Silly bloggers sharing things over the weekend that I want to reblog

      2. Queue…. LOL (just checked the joke on “Adventures and Musings of an Arch Druidess”)

I’ll make sure we have some place for that Carlsberg in the fridge!! And don’t worry about the reblog, the party will be on until Thursday, so even if you only post it tomorrow, it’ll just remind people 🙂 🙂 🙂

        Muah!!

    1. You know where your seat is, Brutus 🙂 I’ll fetch a bowl for your peanuts!

Everyone, let me introduce Brutus, from Richmond Road… Brutus writes stories, enjoys challenges and makes beautiful poetry… and I have a feeling he won’t promote his own blog, so I’ll just mention a page of mine where I keep the little gems he leaves in my comment box. You can access Richmond Road easily from there 🙂

If you don’t know Kate, you haaave to visit her blog!! This lovely lady claims herself that she is here to challenge and entertain! Well she sure keeps me entertained (I hope I do return that favor :P) And she has challenged me on a few occasions too (without Kate, I would probably never have tried writing haïkus, for one thing!!)

Thanks for joining us, dear Kate… I hope you’ll enjoy yourself! xx

As you all know, Lacey is in great part the reason I decided to throw this party, to begin with 🙂 So that alone should be good enough to drop by her blog and say “hi” 😛 Lacey shares her everyday life, and beautiful pictures, and she’s just such a lovely Lady to hang around with!!

  2. I do tarot readings with a focus always on the best outcome. I got electrocuted ten years back and have been dead a few times, and am writing a book on tarot from that perspective, and from having been a stage manager, therapist, and Tibetan Buddhist teacher. My office is in hippieland Woodstock NY in the US, and my clientele ranges from ‘regular’ people to rock stars to old-fashioned multiple personality/DID folks and all kinds of alternative folks–gothy, GLBTQQAI++, younameit. Everyone just wants happiness and sometimes doesn’t know how to get it. We look at a variety of cool decks to help them find it.

I must admit, even if we have talked a couple of times in my comment box, I had not really visited Donnalee’s blog yet! Wow, I was totally unaware of the story behind!

Sorry for missing out for so long… I’ll make sure to come and read more of your posts soon (today is a little busy with the party :P) xx

      1. Thanks. Since I have been so ill, there has been little for maybe two years other than the announcement of my new office in Woodstock. The rest is older but may still inrerest some folks.
I think it’s great to see so many bits and pieces of life with all these blogs. WordPress makes it hard for me to follow people, since it shows NO follow buttons for me due to old computer and new technology, so I have to work around it to actually be able to follow folks. Sometimes if they like a comment of mine or reply I can follow them, which sounds crazy, but other than that I have to wait for wordpress to figute out how to help my elderlky computer and its quirks. Technology is great when it’s great, and not when it’s not!

      2. I’m sorry to read that illness has affected you so much…

Technology is tricky, and it is a shame it keeps you from following blogs you enjoy. I wish I could help you, but I am really bad with everything that has to do with computers 😛 But maybe another reader will have clues, or tips for you 🙂

        Liked by 1 person

      3. It’s fine about the blogs, which i can sometimes follow, sometimes not. If I switched to a very modern version of Windows it might help, but my brain knows this earlier version of Windows inside and out so I can fix my own computer. I am outdated in that way, but I like this system. we’ll see if I ever switch!

Yes, the illness is bad. I get epilepsy-type stuff all the time and have trouble processing stimuli–and the universe is stimuli. Water consumption is my #1 priority for health, and if I don’t get enough, I get very ill immediately, and yet if it’s too cold it closes my throat and that gives me the death and near-death things by choking way too often. I am taking Tibetan medicine again which seems to help slowly but surely, but it does feel way too often that I am very ill indeed. That’s why I wind up working from home more than down at the office. The office usually happens more on the weekends.

I don’t think she needs to be introduced, but just in case… Madame Suze is possibly the nuttiest blogger in town, in the most endearing way! She has a great sense of humor, something to say about everything, and if she decides to follow you, you’ll get her delicious comments delivered daily!!

  4. My God. Every time I open my eyes I’m surrounded by party animals and I have run out of wine and peanuts. Pass me the moscato Dawn … no, I don’t need a glass – these are desperate times. Am I at a party overflowing with females? It’s an idea that I would have jumped at years ago, but now find a tad terrifying. I’ll just sit in the corner. May I smoke a pipe? I haven’t smoked for years but suddenly it seems a sensible and comforting thing to do.

    Liked by 2 people

    1. Mouahahaha terrifying, uh? You are in luck, there are only kind and well behaved ladies here… Ok, maybe except for Madame Suze (LOL just joking Suze!) Of course, you can light your pipe! I’ve been cooking a good stew, partying on for a couple of days calls for a comforting meal to keep the energy up. May I offer you a plate?

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Thankyou. Very comforting. When I first walked in the sun was blazing outside and I was in something of a sweat. Now I have taken the seat by the fire and the weather is screaming out for a good stew. Strange times indeed.

        Liked by 1 person

      3. We do like holidays. Most of them are imported, which says a lot about us. I think I’ve seen the ‘wear a plunger on your head’ idea trialled at sporting events, although half a watermelon is generally more popular. What is it about sporting events that inspires people to look like idiots in public?

      5. Are we doing a stone stew? I can throw in an item or two? Some Celery perhaps? Oh wait… Granny Goose says our brains can only hold so much celery. Maybe we will have to toss the celery out the window and see if the birds would like it.

        Liked by 2 people

      6. Hehehehehe I wasn’t aware of that celery overdose possibility!! That might explain some of my crazy brain bubbles! I do tend to use a lot of celery in my stews 😛

        Liked by 1 person

      7. Oh I love celery. I use it quite often myself. Even just to have a midday snack a bit of celery with peanut butter like my grandma used to do puts me in a right fine mood. They say celery is a negative calorie food as well so I eat the stuff all the time. However, one very dear friend and fellow online personality coined the term in one of her YouTube videos and I had to laugh and will never think about celery the same again. You can watch her video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvyFUpbi9OE&t=2s

Just enough time until Thursday, I guess. I am Bee from “The Bee Writes…” I write a little bit about everything that is why my subtitle is “expect nothing ~ not even the unexpected” ;-). Right now I have a blog event going called: Love Is In Da Blog. It is month long where we write about love in all its forms but you can jump in at any time and as often as you want to. Here are some of the prompt posts: https://beehalton.com/category/writing/blog-events/love-is-in-da-blog/love-is-in-da-blog-2018. Oh, it is also bi-lingual. I do posts in German too.

Miriam is such an inspirational woman, you just need to pay her a little visit 🙂 I’ll admit to not visiting her as regularly as I’d like, but her posts are so thought provoking that I just can’t open one and cross read it. I need to have time to pause and think afterwards 🙂 Even if she often starts with an anecdote or memories from her last camping trip, she always sprinkles inspiration dust in the end…

Ladies and Gents, Sonofabeach96 is one blogger you want to see popping in your comment box!! The beachman posts mostly pictures (beautiful ones, too!) and shares his love for music (and his gorgeous family) nowadays… But if you dig a little bit, he used to publish personal stories well worth the read!!
