I promised I’d be back with part 2 of our (supposed to be) 48 hours snowstorm.
Mother Nature apparently went back order during the night, because when I got up just before noon, it wasn’t snowing anymore. We got about 6 inches, but I admit I was expecting more from this first real storm.
Today, the temperature dropped to -20 C. For those of you familiar with my coldness range, we’ve reached the official level of frette! Gloves, hats and scarves are no longer optionnal, unless you insist on getting really sick, which isn’t in my top ten list of fun Winter activities!
Sorry for travelers who have chosen Montréal as their destination… “Sexy” is no longer available in the metropolis’ street. You might even have some trouble telling pedestrian’s gender.
So there, you have it. I’ll keep you posted next time they announce a blizzard. I hope I’ll have something really impressive to post then!
Artic here in Ontario as well. North wind blowing today and blinding sunlight. When it is this cold I think the sun is insulting. It is just taunting us to come out and get frozen!

Oh my, yes Anne, it IS insulting! I think the only way to be ok with glacial sunny days is to think that in order to have warm sunny Winter days, we’d have grey freezing ones too…. Wait! We “do” get those too!! I’ll write to Mother Nature to ask what’s up with not letting us have nice comfortable winter days “with” sun! 😛
Thanks for your comment, it gave me a good giggle 🙂

Hey! You mean those people all bundled up are NOT pretending to be weebles? I am sure you remember Weebles…they wobble but they don’t fall down?

LOL Oh my, Suze, I had forgotten about weebles!! Yup that’s a pretty good comparison… From now on, we should call Winter Weeble-Season 😛
