Oh! Oh! Oh!…  Not in Santa’s way, more like in a very excited way!

You might know Sonofabeach96. Well, the man just triggered me by using two key words that guarantee to get my full attention: “flag” and “challenge” (well, he didn’t use the word “challenge” per say, but he did dare me to do something stupid, and that’s exactly the same!)

We were talking about being freaks (in a crazy, weird awkward way), and waving the freak flag high, and you all know how I like flags to begin with!

 I wonder what the design of the freak flag would look like? Maybe sponsor a contest? 

Dang yes!

I, for one, would really like to have my own flag!! (I promise to share the credit with you Sonofa! And with the flag designer too!) And I have a feeling some people could get interested in getting their freak flag too!

So I officially launch the Design our Freak-team flag contest!

I’ll publish an official contest post a little later, and I’ll repost it weekly to get as many people as possible to participate. I’ll give you, creative people, until January 15th to send your design via email, and I’ll add the entries to the contest post as I receive them!

Then, I’ll let you vote for your favorite, and I’ll have a real flag made! Oh yeah, I’m that crazy!

The designer will get his flag as this contest’s grand (and only) price!

So, if you’re into my looney side, and would like to encourage it, get ready to share the up coming contest-post, and start brainstorming about your own design! The more people will participate, the more fun this will be.

Who knows, we might end up with our very own Bloggosphere circle of friendly freaks, with our beautiful flag floating in the skies of many countries around the globe! How freakinly cool would that be??

  2. Here we go, S, you should have known better than to dare Cyranny to do anything! ☺️ Cool idea. Maybe I’ll get my grandkids to design something, I’m no artist….but of course I’m in.

      2. I’ll try to set a few rules (knowing Suze will not even read them if she participates :P), but I want people to feel free to interpret the challenge as they choose to 🙂 It should be very interesting, and funny 🙂

      4. I’m letting people interpret “freak” as they wish, but what I was thinking about is this fun way a lot of us have to enjoy our own weirdness and uniqueness 🙂

      2. Same thing happened to me with Biff Sock Pow! I just looooved the name, and started following him right away…. Luckily, he’s a dang good writer too, and a great guy to follow 🙂

    1. Thank you 🙂 While reading your comment, I had a thought about how cool it’d be to have a flag with braille inscriptions on it, although that’d be quite a challenge. And then I figured that the fact they are hung so high is probably the reason people never bothered doing it… Still, I thought about it LOL

      2. 🙂 You are an amazing person, you give me a whole new perspetive on life as I am used to see it (no pun intended)… I studied sign language, since life without hearing seemed like a mystery to me… Now I think a lot about how life would be without sight 🙂
