Some days…

It had been quite some time since I last put one of those funny quotes….

I am at work at the moment (aww come on! Pick up your jaw!) and I was quickly scrolling on The Internets, waiting to be totally wowed. And I got served when I got to this one.

I LOL a lot online… You’ve probably noticed it already. LOL doesn’t necessarely mean that I laughed out loud, I admit. But this time I did! I had to explain myself to my colleagues who just rolled their eyes and went back to minding their own business.

I do amaze myself, sometimes. Tututututt! I didn’t say that I was amazing! I just surprise myself from time to time, when my brain dusts up something learnt a long time ago and serves it to me with perfect timing during a Trivial Pursuit game, or in front of someone I really want to impress (so, yeah, not that often, but it does happen).

And there are the countless times when I almost wonder if I still have a brain. Some mornings, I’d swear aliens have come in our apartment during the night, and taken me away to study me closely… finding out I was really awkward (my body is missing a lot of pieces, I’m sure that would interest visitors from outter space!) and ending up putting me back in bed, just keeping my brain for themselves, since I seemed not to need to be whole to live!

Anyway, this just gave me good giggles, and I figured it wouldn’t hurt to share it…. I hope it makes you smile too!

    1. Mouahahahaha when things like that happen to me, I can’t help but wonder what the dang I was thinking about, that was sooooo important it scrapped all other usually innate brain activity!

      1. I refer to it as being on autopilot. Just mindlessly setting something down without a thought in the least. Then 4 hours of playing Marco Polo is spent searching for a wallet or some shit. I’m finding it happens with an alarmingly sharp increase in frequency as I age too. I just know I’m gonna forget where I’ve put one of my kids one day. 😃😃

  4. can I ask a favour you know when you post photos can you put descriptions? for instance on this one what does it say? i cant see the picture, I’d love it if youd put descriptions on the photos so i can enjoy your posts more! xxx

    1. Ohhh of course… I’ll try to think about you for that in the future 🙂 This one says “Some days I amaze myself… Other days, I put my keys in the fridge!”
