Sweet Serendipity…

Sitting in the train, her forehead against the window and her legs stretched over the aisle seat, she felt like a teen again. Listening to his words, pressing the cellphone to her ear, as if it would make him any closer… He usually made most of the talking, but right now, she was telling him about her dreams of this and of that… Like a list she would have writen to Santa. When she paused, he waited a few seconds before responding…

You shouldn’t waste so much time wishing for those things to happen to you… If you just trust life, it might give you exactly what you want…

I know she thought aloud, while watching the bright yellow of the rape field flashing before her eyes… Life did put you on my way!
