Two picks today, but I would encourage everybody to celebrate both!

First, “Get a different name day”. I happen to know 2 people who would enjoy doing this all year long, why not make it official for 24h? I never felt the need to be called by another name. Never even had a nickname, except as a child, and only from my parents and grand-parents… People don’t even shorten my name. It happens, but very rarely. And I have a somewhat pretty long first name, not “François-Alexandre” long, but still. So… If I’m to play the game… today call me Maude! (being at work, alone, I’ll pretty much play by myself, but hey, “c’est l’intention qui compte!”)

Second is even better: “Madly in love with me day” Lucky me! So, feel free to love me madly today only… I’ll try to survive the sudden withdraw of mad loving at midnight. I might drop dead, that is a possibility, but what better time to die than just after being loved all that much?? And I could have dropped dead yesterday… Never getting to that wave of warm-fuzzy-make-my-day-worth-living love 🙂 Oh and just in case, “madly” doesn’t involve chainsaws, and sharp knives or anything like that! Unless you are Mads Mikkelsen, wanting to love me madsly Hannibal-style!
